Management Summary

AnDiMed is a PC program to assist medical diagnosis with a complex and intelligent code construction.

This phase main duty is the diagnosis of diseases on the basis of the large blood count (hemogram). All relevant possible diagnoses which can result in a certain blood picture are to be explained and demonstrated to the physician and will also offers further test options. The final proceeding is to be decided further by physician or other authorized one (e.g. pharmacists) - AnDiMed is to serve only as a support.

Example

After the laboratory test of a large blood picture, all information will be entered in AnDiMed and set with the help of a data base with information about complex connections under to the different values, e.g. red blood corpuscles (Erythrocytes) with white blood corpuscles (leukocytes) and blood lamella (hemoglobin). Then all possible logical diagnoses will be mentioned from which a physician still knows quiet most two of them, no less if it concerns a rarer illness. These diagnoses can be arranged and differentiated then according to different importance stages. Additionally in certain cases further information will be demanded from the physician, e.g. hearing of the lungs or a requesting of an electrocardiogram.
